The Arkansas Country Music Association hosted its inaugural Awards show in Little Rock last night. Held at the Center for Performing Arts at UA Little Rock, and co-hosted by DeQueen native Colin Raye and Charles Haymes, this red carpet event was kick started to honor artists in 27 categories ranging from entertainer of the year to album of the year, song of the year, female vocalist, best vocal group and more. Arkansas country music icons Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Ed Bruce, Wayne Raney and The Browns were each honored with lifetime achievement awards during the ceremony.

Despite several omissions from obviously worthy nominees like The Salty Dogs, Ashley McBryde, Arkansauce, and Dylan Earl, the event still packed a huge list of Arkansas country, americana, folk, and bluegrass names.  You can view the complete list of winners below.
