A year after taking their polka dot costumes, invented alien dialogue, and microtonal math rock into sold out rooms, the anonymous Quebec duo Angine De Poitrine are preparing to scale up. The pair spent much of 2026 riding a wave of online visibility, an appearance on Jimmy Fallon, and the release of their second record, Vol. II. Now, they have announced an extensive 2027 world tour that will transport their theatrical live show into considerably larger venues across several continents.
The global schedule begins on March 4 at Forum Melbourne, which marks their first headlining date on Australian soil. That run quickly widens to include festival sets at Golden Plains and WOMADelaide, alongside an evening at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney. From Australia, the group travels straight to South America for a heavy festival calendar throughout March. They will play the three regional Lollapalooza gatherings in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, before heading north to Bogota for Estéreo Picnic.
Their North American leg follows immediately after, opening with multiple theatre residencies in Canada. Audiences there will get two night stands at the Grey Eagle Event Centre in Calgary, History Ottawa, and the Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg. Come May, the duo crosses into the United States for an ambitious run of dates. They will headline The Anthem in Washington, DC, the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Stage AE in Pittsburgh, Royal Oak Music Theatre in Detroit, and KEMBA Live! in Columbus. The American route continues with shows at The Truth in Nashville, The Bomb Factory in Dallas, the Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park in Austin, and Mission Ballroom in Denver.
June pulls the tour across the Atlantic for a blend of European festivals and major British dates. The European portion features sets at Primavera Sound in Barcelona, We Love Green in Paris, Festi'neuch in Neuchâtel, Magnolia Estivo in Milan, and both the Hurricane and Southside festivals in Germany. From there, the duo heads to the UK to play The Piece Hall in Halifax on June 24. They then travel south for consecutive nights at London's O2 Academy Brixton on June 28 and 29, marking their largest headline appearances to date. Because these late June dates coincide directly with Glastonbury, the routing has already triggered speculation about an appearance at the festival.
This step up in venue size follows a sold out 2026 UK run that began in Bristol and culminated in back to back nights at London's Troxy. The pair had previously generated interest during earlier festival runs, including a set at The Great Escape. Although their visual setup features disguised identities, polka dot clothing, and an invented alien language, the live appeal hinges on technical execution. Their microtonal compositions and intricate math rock timing offer an unusual live dynamic that has clearly connected with large crowds.
The tour concludes with two final Canadian dates later in the summer, stopping at Toronto's RBC Amphitheatre on July 18 and Zone Portuaire in Chicoutimi on July 30. Pre-sale tickets for the worldwide dates become available on Tuesday, October 27, before general ticket sales begin on Friday, October 30 at 10am local time.
