Organisers of the Isle of Wight Festival have detailed their headline plans for 2027, confirming Fatboy Slim, Robbie Williams, and Kings of Leon as the weekend anchors. The event returns to Seaclose Park in Newport from June 17 through June 20, marking the twenty-fifth edition of the gathering since its relaunch back in 2002. The trio of top-tier bookings follows a 2026 festival that was led by The Cure, Lewis Capaldi, and Calvin Harris.

Fatboy Slim opens the main stage festivities on Friday night. The producer arrives in Newport in the wake of a thirty-year reissue campaign for his debut album, Better Living Through Chemistry, which recently returned to music shops packaged with an assortment of rarities and B-sides. His Friday appearance places electronic music front and centre on the first evening, setting up a distinct transition before guitar acts and pop artists steer the remainder of the weekend.

Robbie Williams takes the headline slot on Saturday during a particularly active stretch of touring. The performance follows the release of his sixteenth UK Number One album, Britpop, and slots directly into an ambitious run of warm-weather dates. Williams is already booked to headline Lytham Festival, perform at the British Grand Prix, and play two stadium concerts in Ireland. The Newport booking also lands near ongoing speculation linking him to an appearance at Glastonbury the following weekend. Addressing talk about the Pyramid Stage back in 2023, Williams stated that he would slaughter the event's Sunday Legends Slot if invited, arguing that observers often hold an oblique perception of his live work and adding that he would take their heads off if given the chance, before later admitting that an appearance might indeed be on the cards.

Kings of Leon will bring the event to a close on Sunday night. The Nashville band are currently navigating the rollout for their forthcoming record, O My Beloved, which arrives on November 6. Fans have already heard two preview tracks, My Whole World and Cold Blue Dawn, both of which were showcased during an intimate hometown gig last month. Their stop at Seaclose Park joins other high-profile summer plans for the group, including an arena date scheduled at London's O2 in July.

A wide selection of supporting acts has also been revealed alongside the headliners. The opening wave of confirmations includes Courteeners, Becky Hill, Myles Smith, Inhaler, The Cardigans, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Kaiser Chiefs, Rudimental, Bastille, and Cruz Beckham with The Breakers. Organisers have additionally booked Aaron Rowe, Jack Savoretti, Keo, The Lilacs, Logicaltramp, Rick Parfitt Jnr Band, Scouting For Girls, and T'Pau.

Festival director Caroline Giddings noted that the bill was constructed to appeal across age groups, explaining that the three headline artists each bring a separate identity to the stage. She added that including acts such as Becky Hill, Bastille, and Myles Smith helps establish a lineup tailored to varying tastes and generations. Giddings also highlighted the work done outside the main performance arenas, pointing to the food traders, interactive attractions, and communal areas designed to round out the experience on site.

General admission tickets for the 2027 event go on sale at 8am GMT on Monday, October 26. Customers with PayPal access were offered an early 48-hour purchase window starting at 8am BST on Friday, October 23. Festival organisers plan to announce further additions to the Seaclose Park bill in the coming weeks and months.
