Londoners paying attention to outdoor advertising over the past few days will already have suspected something was brewing in Victoria Park. Billboards scattered across the city started hinting at the return of All Points East, and festival organizers have now confirmed that Phoebe Bridgers will open the 2027 edition as the Friday headliner. Her headline set falls on August 27, anchoring the start of the late summer Bank Holiday weekend in east London.
The announcement builds on the momentum of her 2026 LP, Lost Weekend. That record pushed Bridgers into full arena territory without abandoning the candid, precise songwriting that earned her audience in the first place. For her day in Hackney, she has curated an exclusively female supporting cast focused on voice work and unusual arrangements. Caroline Polachek and Kelsey Lu share prominent billing near the top of the poster, joined by Danielle Ponder and Jasmine.4.t. Promoters have stated that this group represents only the initial wave of bookings, with further names due to be added to the Friday schedule as the event draws closer.
Those planning to attend will not have to wait long to pick up passes. The All Points East pre-sale opens at 10am on Wednesday, October 28. Remaining allocations will be released to the general public twenty-four hours later, on Thursday, October 29, also at 10am.
While the outdoor date sits well into the following summer, Bridgers has plenty of live work queued up in the immediate future. In under a month, she begins the Lost Tour, an arena run taking her through the UK and mainland Europe. Audiences on those dates can expect an unusually focused room, courtesy of a strict policy prohibiting phone use and filming during her performance. Support across the trek comes from Isaac Wood, providing the former Black Country, New Road frontman with a rare, notable platform for his return to public performance.
The tour also gives Bridgers the chance to fulfill dates she was forced to abandon earlier this summer. Three low-key album launch performances in Bristol, Brighton, and Kingston were called off at short notice in August after she was hospitalized for emergency appendicitis. Those intimate appearances have since been woven directly into the broader arena route. In addition, Bridgers is keeping her ongoing collaboration with the charity PLUS1 active throughout the tour. A single pound or euro from every ticket purchased on the European leg will be transferred to local groups that assist survivors of sexual violence and assault.
The hectic stage calendar arrives right as Bridgers branches out beyond music. Her first prominent film role lands in theaters on Friday, October 30, when she stars alongside Robert Pattinson in the feature Primetime. Juggling cinematic premieres with full-scale arena itineraries highlights just how expansive her workload has become over the past twelve months.
Securing Bridgers places All Points East back in familiar territory, where single days are organized around distinct artistic identities. Previous years have seen the festival hand entire weekends over to singular voices, including a two-night stretch from Tyler, The Creator, as well as headlining sets from Lorde, Deftones, Twenty One Pilots, and a joint booking featuring Jorja Smith and Tems. With the rest of the 2027 weekend still blank, Bridgers gives the Victoria Park gathering a clear, compelling center piece to construct its next installment around.
