Primavera Sound has started mapping out its 25th anniversary celebration. Next summer, the Barcelona festival returns to the seaside concrete of Parc del Fòrum from June 3 to June 5, 2027. Organisers had already set expectations last week by detailing initial ticket access dates and hinting at imminent news. Now, they have followed through with a sizable first wave of artists confirmed for the birthday edition.

Three names anchor the top of the poster, each arriving from very different corners of contemporary music. Doechii is booked for her first appearance at the event, marking her Parc del Fòrum debut. Phoebe Bridgers steps onto the headlining tier with her recent solo album, Lost Weekend, behind her. The third top slot goes to Fontaines D.C., who arrive during an active stretch as they prepare to put out their next studio record, Dopamine Chamber, later this month.

The announcement also places significant weight on bespoke festival productions and late night dance pairings. FKA Twigs is lined up to unveil an entirely new live show across the waterfront grounds. Longstanding festival regulars Massive Attack and the Chemical Brothers are also slated to return to Spain, bringing their seasoned arena scale sets back to the forum. To see out the final hours of the weekend, Skrillex and Australian producer Ninajirachi will combine behind the decks for a collaborative back to back performance.

Further down the schedule, the curation makes room for some unusually quiet, singular moments. Folk songwriter Bonnie “Prince” Billy is confirmed for an infrequent festival run, joined on the roster by legendary English singer Vashti Bunyan. Now 81 years old, Bunyan has performed live barely a dozen times over the past decade. Bringing her fragile folk catalog into an expansive outdoor setting marks one of the most unexpected choices on the bill.

The rest of the program pulls from guitars, modern pop, and club culture in equal measure. Confirmed artists include Turnstile, Pavement, Robyn, Bad Gyal, Lola Young, ADÉLA, Prospa, Caroline Polachek, and Hayley Williams. The lineup also brings in King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Bleachers, Underworld, EsDeeKid, ANOHNI, Weyes Blood, English Teacher, Julien Baker, Rebe, Dove Ellis, Metronomy, Arca, underscores, DIIV, Westside Cowboy, Lip Critic, and Angine de Poitrine.

This 25th edition follows the 2026 gathering, which occupied the same waterfront grounds from June 4 to June 6. That prior run saw Massive Attack perform alongside The Cure, Gorillaz, The xx, and Doja Cat, with Olivia Rodrigo staging a surprise unannounced appearance while attendees and staff navigated difficult weather conditions across the weekend.

For those planning to attend the 2027 anniversary, ticket procedures are already underway. A registration form for the fan presale remains open on the Primavera Sound website through October 7. Registered buyers will receive an email on October 8 with the access instructions needed for the fan sale, which opens at 11am CEST. Any remaining festival passes will become available to the public when general sales go live on October 9.
