The new single puts electric guitar at the centre of its arrangement, giving the track forward momentum while leaving room for the emotionally tender songwriting that has become part of Queen Anne’s identity. The result sits between indie-pop immediacy and a moodier alternative sensibility, balancing movement with atmosphere.
Queen Anne consists of singer and songwriter Katie Silverman and writer and producer Sandy Chila. The pair handle the production and mixing themselves, with Matthew Gray responsible for mastering. Their collaboration brings songwriting and studio work together, allowing the duo to shape a sound that moves between catchy melodies and darker textures.
The release follows a run of singles that began with Real Enough, the duo’s debut in 2025. That track introduced Queen Anne’s interest in turning everyday frustrations into character-driven musical storytelling. Since then, their work has attracted attention from music outlets including Earmilk, 1883 and Galour, alongside radio support from KROQ Locals Only, 91X and SoCal Sound.
Silverman also works as an actor, with credits including New Girl, PEN15 and High Potential. Her move between screen and music gives Queen Anne’s creative partnership another dimension, while Chila’s work as a writer and producer helps shape the duo’s distinctive mix of atmosphere and pop structure.
GREYHOUND adds another chapter to Queen Anne’s expanding catalogue as the duo look toward a planned EP in summer 2027. For now, the single keeps their focus on guitar-led momentum, shadowed pop textures and songwriting that finds emotional tension within a concise, hook-driven format.
