TOSCA Introduces Her Songwriting with Debut Single Sun God
Zurich-based singer-songwriter TOSCA introduces her music with Sun God, a debut single that explores the excitement and uncertainty of a new attraction. Built around the memory of a fleeting summer encounter, the song captures the warmth of being close to someone, the freedom of a connection without promises, and the feelings that remain after the moment has passed.
Drawing on Greek mythology, Sun God plays with the image of a seemingly all-knowing figure whose confidence and charm may conceal something less innocent. The song explores how fascination can cloud judgement, leaving someone caught between curiosity and uncertainty about the person standing before them.
Rather than presenting romance as a straightforward love story, TOSCA leaves space for unanswered questions. The result is a reflection on the ambiguity of attraction, where excitement and doubt can exist side by side.
Written by TOSCA and recorded in Nashville with producer Eli Beaird and a team of session musicians, Sun God brings personal storytelling into an organic indie pop setting. The recording introduces an artist beginning to establish her own musical identity through intimate themes and thoughtful songwriting.
Sun God marks the first step in a wider release campaign planned for 2027, with a series of singles leading towards TOSCA's debut EP. Six original songs have already been recorded in Nashville, setting the stage for the next chapter of her work as an independent artist.
