Glen Campbell earned a posthumous Grammy nomination for the track “Arkansas Farmboy” from his final studio LP Adiós, released this past June. Inspired by Campbell’s rural origins and written in the late 1970s by Campbell’s longtime banjo player Carl Jackson, “Arkansas Farmboy” is nominated alongside Alabama Shakes, Allison Krauss, Blind Boys of Alabama, and the late Leonard Cohen in the Best American Roots Performance category.

The Grammys will air live on CBS from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday, Jan. 28. The final round of Grammy voting runs from Dec. 7-21.
