Whoop The Devil

Whoop The Devil · 2026

Destin Dumais brings a direct message of Christian faith to country rock on Whoop The Devil, a forceful single built around the belief that believers can stand against evil through their relationship with Christ. The song takes its inspiration from Luke 10:19, a passage describing the authority given to believers over the power of the enemy. Its central idea is reinforced by another familiar biblical instruction: resist the devil, and he will flee. Rather than approaching faith through quiet reflection, Dumais frames the message as a bold declaration. The track sits at the intersection of country rock, blues rock and Christian music. Its aggressive, energetic character gives the subject matter the shape of an anthem, placing spiritual conviction at the forefront. The title itself is deliberately blunt, reflecting the song’s emphasis on confronting evil rather than surrendering to fear. For Dumais, the release connects music with a clear statement of belief. The song presents faith not simply as a source of comfort, but as a foundation for resilience and spiritual confidence when facing adversity. Whoop The Devil arrives as an independent release from an artist bringing Christian themes into a hard-hitting rock framework. Its message is unmistakable: stand firm in faith, resist what threatens it, and remember the strength found in belief.
