Gaza Orchestra · 2026

Gaza Orchestra brings music and humanitarian solidarity together in a four-track hip-hop project by Dr Koul and Inztrow, created to raise awareness of the Palestinian struggle and support civilian relief efforts. Rather than treating its political message as a backdrop, the project places it at the centre of its purpose, connecting the music to a direct commitment to Palestinian liberation. The EP expands on the duo’s 2023 single Gaza Orchestra. Recognising the opportunity to use their platform to raise funds and keep attention on Palestine, Dr Koul and Inztrow developed the original idea into a broader collaboration. Geneva hip-hop veteran Rox appears on Mystic, while UK lyricist Kemastry joins them on Panism. The project’s musical approach is closely tied to its subject. Each track incorporates samples from artists rooted in the freedom struggles of Palestine and Bilad el-Sham, drawing on cultural histories that remain central to the region’s identity. These voices are woven into the production as part of a wider conversation about resistance, solidarity and the possibility of a shared future. That decision gives Gaza Orchestra a purpose beyond commentary. The project seeks to recognise the cultural work and histories that came before it, using hip-hop as a space where those influences can be heard by new audiences. Its stated ambition is not to speak over Palestinian experiences, but to bring existing voices and struggles into the music. The humanitarian commitment is equally direct. One hundred per cent of profits from digital sales, merchandise and concert tickets go to The Sameer Project, a grassroots initiative funding life-saving civilian relief on the ground. The release has been developed with guidance from Loud Raven Consulting, connecting the project’s artistic goals with its fundraising mission. Dr Koul brings a background in conscious hip-hop and community-focused creative work to the collaboration. Based in Geneva, he is also a member of Captains of the Imagination and Herd Culture Kids. His solo catalogue includes Stranger At Home and Prophet of Doubt, a project accompanied by a book. His work across music, education and activism informs the perspective he brings to Gaza Orchestra. Ultimately, the EP asks listeners to do more than engage with its message through music alone. Gaza Orchestra invites people to listen, reflect and contribute to relief efforts, placing cultural expression alongside practical support for Palestinian civilians.
