Butterflies · 2025

Kelly Padrick explores the complexities of love, loss and personal growth on Butterflies, a five-track country-pop EP released on August 24, 2026. The New York-based independent singer-songwriter brings together nostalgic themes and an empowering perspective, focusing on the experiences that shape us and the strength it takes to move forward. At the heart of the EP is a message of self-belief. Relationships can leave lasting memories, but they can also reveal the importance of recognizing one's own worth. Butterflies encourages listeners to look beyond the desire to hold onto someone and consider whether a relationship offers the passion and connection they truly deserve. Padrick developed the EP with longtime collaborator Marc Copely, who co-wrote and produced the project. Their collaboration supports a collection built around personal reflection, emotional honesty and the familiar territory between romantic hope and disappointment. The country-pop approach gives Butterflies a foundation for exploring both nostalgia and resilience. Rather than focusing solely on the pain of lost love, the EP turns toward the possibility of personal renewal, presenting moving on as an opportunity to rediscover confidence and direction. With Butterflies, Kelly Padrick delivers a project centered on knowing your value, trusting yourself and refusing to settle for less than a meaningful connection. Its message is ultimately one of empowerment, reminding listeners that moving forward can begin with choosing themselves.
