For well over 3 decades, Nightflying has been a staple of the Arkansas music culture. From boasting the largest live music calendar in the Mid-South to spotlighting up-and-coming talents, Nightflying has left an permanent mark upon an entire generation of Arkansas music fans.

Now, Nightflying, NWA Ozarks Blues Society and AC Music Team have joined together to bring a couple of major concerts to Fayetteville and Little Rock called Cabin Fever. The events are being held to raise the much needed funds to enable the long-standing music magazine a return to print.

Cabin Fever I takes place April 22 at George’s Majestic Lounge. The lineup features performances by Chicago blues-master Bob Margolin, Bob CorritoreJesse Dean, Brick Fields, Heather Crosse and members of local blues supergroup Divas On Fire. Tickets available at Stubs.net

Cabin Fever II takes place at The White Water Tavern on May 6. This event features performances by Akeem Kemp BandAmy Garland, Heather Crosse & Friends, Gilbo & The Originals, a reunion of Blues Patrol, Charlotte Taylor & Gypsy Rain, The Josh Parks BandEd Bowman & The Rock City Players, Johnni Blue – A Hot Southern Mess, and Blues Boy Jag & The Juke Joint Zombies. An after party is set for Midtown Billiards with a heavily hyped musicians jam set to rattle this post-Cabin Fever bash.
