From the opening drama of ‘Dead Head’ to the final notes of ‘Papillion’, Terminus came not to entertain but to put you on your ass. The progressive rock quartet from Fayetteville stood proud and delivered an explosive set that most local bands are simply unable to pull off. The definition of Terminus states ‘a final point in space or time; an end or extremity’ and for many in Northwest Arkansas that definition spells trouble. From frenzied Mars Volta-esque Prog Rock to elements of Classic Power Metal. Terminus is a deadly beast!
The show was headlined by Relapse Recording artist Inter Arma (Richmond,VA) who delivered a fantastic set of bombast and heaviness that essentially left Denver sludge punks ‘Call Of The Void’ sandwiched between two hot headliners intent on domination. Overall it was a fantastic billing which proved once again that Ryleigh’s is a gem in Fayetteville’s live music crown. Special thanks to Travis Smith for his continued support for local music and to Jon Willett for giving us arena sized sound.
