Progressive Rock/Jam Supergroup Ghost Light are coming to George’s Majestic Lounge on April 9th, 2019.
The band features Holly Bowling, Raina Mullen (American Babies), Tom Hamilton (JRAD/American Babies), Scotty Zwang (Dopapod/RAQ), and Steve Lyons (Nicos Gun). Their goal in forming was to, as Tom Hamilton said to Jambase,
“come to the project with fresh ears and no preconceived notions.” – Tom Hamilton (Ghost Light)
Their 2018 debut Best Kept Secret is a tight, and varied but cohesive ride full of exploratory sounds and genre-blending. While some of each of their past work’s influence is there, it is largely unlike anything these artists have been a part of.
Live the band bring their Jam-based backgrounds out, playing loose and often improvisational. With setlists consisting mostly of their original songs, peppered with covers of favorites from each of their other projects as well as the occasional bonafide classic. Fans of Progressive Rock and Jam do not want to miss this golden opportunity to see one of the hottest acts on tour in such an intimate setting.
