A coordinated rollout is one way to unveil a stadium tour. On September 10, 2019, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer confirmed they would be hitting the road together for the first time on the Hella Mega Tour, pairing the news with brand new material from each act.
Fall Out Boy brought in Wyclef Jean for "Dear Future Self (Hands Up)," Green Day delivered "Father of All...", and Weezer contributed "The End of the Game." Releasing the tracks in tandem gave the joint announcement something immediate for fans to dig into alongside the routing.
Produced by Live Nation, the run takes all three groups into stadiums across several regions. The schedule opens overseas, with European and UK dates up first, beginning in Paris on June 13, 2020. From there, the tour shifts over to North America for a second stadium leg.
