The South London art-punk six-piece only launched their autumn tour on September 19, yet every single headline date on the itinerary sold out before the shows even got underway. Rather than simply enjoying the crowded rooms, the group moved quickly to give themselves considerably more breathing room, unveiling an expanded nine-date UK tour scheduled for May 2027.
The scramble for tickets follows the arrival of Cannonball, the band's debut full-length record, which came out earlier in September. The album marked a clear step forward from the raw, driving sound heard on their earlier EP, Eazy Peasy, earning praise for pairing experimental instincts with a playful, emotionally direct songwriting style. Audiences responded immediately at the box office. Independent staples across the country saw their allocations vanish, including King Tut's in Glasgow, the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, Gorilla in Manchester, and the Electric Ballroom in London. That momentum was not confined to Britain either. Over in the United States, autumn dates in New York sold out completely, with additional appearances lined up in Chicago and Los Angeles.
The first hint of a larger follow-up tour arrived when the band put a date at London's O2 Forum Kentish Town on the books for May 11, 2027. That show was originally organized to absorb overflow after the Electric Ballroom date filled to capacity. Rather than leaving the London venue as a stand-alone date in the distance, the band chose to construct a complete UK tour around it, stepping up into significantly larger rooms to match the sudden surge in interest following Cannonball.
The newly announced May 2027 run begins in the north, kicking off at New Century in Manchester on May 1 before heading to Glasgow for a performance at The Art School on May 2. The band then visits Newcastle to play the King Street Social Club on May 3, followed by a stop at Project House in Leeds on May 5. The route turns southward through the Midlands and West Country, with shows booked at the Castle & Falcon in Birmingham on May 6, Electric in Bristol on May 7, and The 1865 in Southampton on May 8. A date at Oxford's Academy on May 10 brings them right up to the concluding night at the O2 Forum Kentish Town on May 11.
Fans looking to pick up tickets before the general public will have early access through pre-sales organized via Spotify and the band's official mailing list, both opening at 10am BST on Wednesday, September 23. General sales will launch at 10am BST on Friday, September 25. Committing to a full run of larger venues so far ahead of time underscores just how quickly Cannonball has expanded the band's reach, turning small-room sellouts into an appetite for full-scale concert halls.
