Read before you enter

Released this month
The song must be released on Spotify in the same month as the edition. For the October 2026 edition, the song must come out in October 2026. We check the release date on Spotify automatically.

Once a month per artist
Each artist can submit one song per monthly edition. The same artist, email or track cannot enter twice.
- 03
No AI music
Fully or mainly AI generated music is not accepted. Tracks found to be AI generated are removed, even after nomination.
- 04
Independent and on Spotify
Open to independent artists with a public Spotify track link and an Instagram profile.
- 05
Your rights
You must own or control the rights to the recording and allow us to feature it.
- 06
Editors decide
Up to 20 nominees are chosen by our editors and one winner is announced. There is no public vote.
Submissions open on the 1st and close at 23:59 on the 25th, New York time. Entry is free and needs no account.

The winner receives a digital certificate and is considered for an interview, promotion on shindigmusic.net and a feature through SubmitFinder.
